Life Church is a Spirit-filled, Bible teaching church serving Durham, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Formerly known as Horton Road Church of God, we have been ministering and reaching out to our city for 75 years with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are located just north of I-85 in Durham, North Carolina adjacent to the lovely Horton Hills community.

Life Church is built on the vision of "Living for Christ, Loving Others, Learning the Word." We do this by expounding the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world, equipping believers to be wholly-devoted to Christ, and experiencing ministry through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and individual's talents and gifts used for God's glory.

The local church should provide the greatest avenue for encouragement and strength, as well as providing for much needed direction and guidance in these challenging days we live in. At Life Church, our desire is to build a wonderful oasis where the peace of God can reign and minister to us all, whatever trials or hardships we face in our lives.
